WWE: Ranking the NXT Takeover events (1)

Last week on the WWE Network the latest NXT special event aired as Takeover: Rival crowned a new NXT Champion where Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn.

This was the fifth NXT Takeover since the special events came to fruition almost one year ago. Yet again, the latest NXT event went down as another massive success, with NXT ontin to bring in plenty of new fans on a weekly basis where wrestling is the emphasis.

The likelihood is that NXT will continue to shine every single week and the superstars and divas of NXT will continue to step it up on every Takeover special.

We have now seen five Takeover specials and around May we should see the second of the year and sixth in total; but out of the specials that have aired, which has been the best so far?

Every event has managed to bring something brilliant to the table, whether it’s a great match between two competitors or the culmination of a great rivalry, the Takeover specials have always managed to get fans talking for months especially with big-name arrivals such as KENTA, Prince Devitt and Kevin Steen who adopted the names Hideo Itami, Finn Balor and Kevin Owens respectively and they too have now had a taste of what Takeover specials bring.
