Lyon striker Sonny Anderson has insisted that teammate and Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette could one day win the coveted Ballon d’Or award, and the forward has responded positively. The France international said that he will work hard to achieve football’s most prestigious individual prize and that if he wins it he will dedicate it to Anderson. Arsene Wenger is said to be interested in a move for Lacazette in the summer. Elsewhere Jose Mourinho may be guilty of stirring the pot once more, as he claimed yesterday that he was baffled as to why the Gunners weren’t challenging his Chelsea side for the title. The Special One said the Arsenal hot-seat was a ‘dream job’, in what some may perceive to be a dig at Wenger. Meanwhile Olivier Giroud has revealed Alexis Sanchez is known as Duracell at the club because of his sheer will to win and constantly high energy levels.
