Ex-Chelsea player has dig at Jose Mourinho

Published Add your comment

Ex-Chelsea full-back Ryan Bertrand aimed what some are claiming is a jibe at his former boss Jose Mourinho yesterday, after seeing his side lose 2-0 to Liverpool. Following on from Mourinho’s act of highlighting the minutes that supposedly cost Chelsea all three points against Burnley on Saturday, Bertrand simply tweeted minute 4, singling out the moment the Saints were denied an early penalty that could have swung the match at the St. Mary’s Stadium in their favour. In transfer news Mauro Icardi is said to be demanding a triple-your-salary rise worth £100,000-a-week from Inter Milan, which could lead to him becoming available for transfer. Mourinho is a keen admirer of the young forward, and if Inter opt not to hand him the deal he wants, he might push for a move to Stamford Bridge.
