Sometimes Serge Ibaka is just awesome. Not all of the time, but every now and then, Ibaka makes plays that ignite and inspire the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Sunday night was one of those nights when Ibaka takes control, with the power forward dominating the Denver Nuggets on defense.

The Nuggets had no answer to the brutal defense of Ibaka, something which inspired the Thunder to a dominant 119-94 win.

Ibaka's performance was so impressive that an awesome GIF of his performance went viral post-game, and it makes great viewing.

The powerful player made eight blocks on the night, and every single one of them is packed into a tidy little GIF, which you can SEE ON THIS LINK

Ibaka was certainly not the only Thunder player to dominate the Nuggets on Sunday night, with star point guard Russell Westbrook also having his best performance for some time.

Westbrook has struggled to remain fit this season, but on Sunday he put up 21 points and a career-high 17 assists.

In more good news, it has been reported that NBA MVP Kevin Durant will return this season after he had a procedure on Sunday to replace a screw from his surgically repaired right foot.
