The WWE Tag Team Division has always been one that is often criticized, with many tag teams reaching the gold when they don't seem ready.
Current Champions Cesaro and Tyson Kidd reached the mountain top after just two months and 22 days of tagging together. But in such a short space of time, the duo have proved that they have what it takes to lead the division, if only for a short period of time.
Monday Night saw Kidd and Cesaro retain the titles they won at Fastlane as they faced former champions The Usos in their contracted re-match. This then set up an angle that included Jimmy Uso and Tyson Kidds real life wives Naomi and Natalya as things between the two former friends began to heat up.
It was not only the former champions that were making waves in the Tag division on Raw last night as The Prime Time Players made their re-debut after their re-form last week and shockingly ended The Ascension's undefeated streak.
After the match, Darren Young was hit with Fall of Man, as the seeds were planted for what could be an interesting rivalry.
In an interview after the match The Prime Time Players talked about getting back together and the fact that Titus O'Neil is still earning back Darren Young's trust, but they also spoke about their desire to go after the Tag Team Championships.
Last year's WrestleMania kick off show saw the title defended in a fatal four way match, that was won by The Usos, as they retained their championships, but it seems this year could be much of the same.
There are four teams in WWE right now that deserve a shot at the titles on the grandest stage of them all. The match would also open up rivalries that could then be looked into after WrestleMania season is over.
The likelihood is that the divas will play a bigger part in proceedings at next months show, but the fairest option does seem like another epic fatal four way encounter.
