Tom Brady's isn't planning on quitting the NFL just yet but, when he does eventually decide to step away from the gridiron, reports this week suggest his next career move will see the New England Patriots quarterback take on a very different type of challenge.
As first reported by Star magazine, via CBS Sports, Brady has intentions to pursue an acting career when he leaves the NFL - and the four-time Super Bowl winning QB is confident that he has what it takes to be successful in Hollywood too.
Brady of course has already appeared in a number of commercials and cameo roles down the years, but leaving behind football all together in favor of the bright lights of the movies would certainly be a step away from his comfort zone.
"At 37, Tom knows he only has a few seasons left before retirement," a source close to the quarterback explained.
"He's thinking ahead and believed he could become a huge movie star...He's used to being a superstar. After winning the Super Bowl again, he's thinking about new challenges outside of football."

Brady has already made it clear that he plans to play on for a couple of season yet but fans will already be able to see him on the big screen in the coming months, with two cameo roles in major movies set for release.
As well as playing himself in the upcoming 'Entourage' movie, the Patriots quarterback has a role in 'Ted 2' due for release on June 26.
Plus this latest report gives hope that Tom Brady the Movie could one day become a reality. I mean the tail of a sixth round pick going on to win four Super Bowls and stake a claim as the greatest quarterback ever to play the game is certainly one worth telling.
A loss for football
If Tom Brady does decide to walk away from football when his playing career is done it would certainly be a huge loss for the NFL.
HIs vast experience, and knowledge of what it requires to reach the top would be a major addition to any franchise coaching staff that is for sure. There are few who have done what he has done at such a consistent level, or who have risen to such heights in such a spectacular fashion.
What do you think Patriots fans? Has Brady got what it takes to make it in the movies, or is he more suited to a coaching role down the line? Let us know in the comments section below...
