Grant Hall scored his first goal for Blackpool and Alex Pritchard was instrumental in Brentford's win over promotion rivals Bournemouth, but there was less good news for other Tottenham loanees.

Centre-back Hall returned to the Seasiders' line up after missing the last few weeks with injury and scored with a header three minutes before half time to cancel out Blackburn's opener. The game ended 1-1 and Hall played the full ninety minutes.

Alex Pritchard was also on the scoresheet in the Championship and picked up two assists as Brentford won 3-1 at home to Bournemouth. Pritchard fired home a 35-yard free kick that deceived the visitors goalkeeper to make it 2-1.

League Two and injuries

In League Two, Nathan Oduwa played 64 minutes for Luton but could not stop them losing 3-2 at AFC Wimbledon, while Shaq Coulthirst was a late sub as Southend United lost 4-2 to Stevenage. Dominic Ball was an unused sub for Cambridge as the U's lost 6-2 at home to Plymouth.

Emmanuel Sonupe was a late sub in St Mirren's 3-0 Scottish Premiership defeat at Aberdeen, while on Sunday Aaron Lennon played the full game in Everton's 2-2 draw at home to bottom placed Premier League side Leicester.

Dele Alli has unfortunately picked up an ankle injury for MK Dons, and is receiving treatment at Hotspur Way alongside fellow loanees Tomislav Gomelt and Milos Veljkovic.

On Tuesday, Ryan Fredericks returned to the starting XI and played the full game in Middlesbrough's 1-0 home win over Bolton. Pritchard and Hall went head to head as Brentford hosted Blackpool. The home side won 4-0 in a one-sided clash.

Dominic Ball once again stayed on the bench for Cambridge as they battled AFC Wimbledon to a goalless draw.
