With Manchester United unbelievably struggling to score goals at the minute, Louis van Gaal will be on the look out for a new attack-minded midfielder in the summer.
But is there any need? Does the answer lie with a player that is already on the Old Trafford books?
The forgotten man, Nani, who is currently on loan with his boyhood club Sporting Lisbon, could be the answer to Van Gaal's prayers. He has lots of pace, he has lots of skills, and, more importantly, he has been at the club for longer than some of the new United stars have been and has a lot more experience.
The 28-year-old was criticised a lot at Old Trafford for being to selfish with the ball and not passing much, but I think that is what this current United squad needs. Someone who can pick the ball up and run with it.
Yes, they have Angel Di Maria, who can do all of that and more, but I think they need someone who isn't afraid to shoot at goal' another trait Nani was also criticised for before. This time around that could actually help, with United struggling for goals.
Despite the summer arrival of Radamel Falcao - and the presence of Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney - the Red Devils haven't looked nearly as potent as many expected them to be, and though another striker could be purchased in the summer, Van Gaal may opt to rely on his creative midfield options to provide the goals.
If that's the case then Nani might well be an option to consider. His reputation counts against him given how he fared during the latter years of Sir Alex Ferguson's reign and the doomed campaign under David Moyes, but that doesn't mean he won't yet become a consistent performer, and now he's in his supposed 'peak years' he may have the maturity to produce better showings.
On top of that, with Nani recently saying he is open for an Old Trafford stay, the door looks open for an unlikely second coming that might prove to be one of Van Gaal's wisest decisions.
