Seth Rollins confronts Jon Stewart on the Daily Show

Published 4 Comments

Everyone has had their eyes on the verbal battle between WWE superstar Seth Rollins and host of the Daily Show Jon Stewart in recent weeks.

It all started with a random one liner from Rollins in a promo on RAW two weeks ago and that led to Stewart responding.

Stewart claimed that Rollins was in for a world of hurt and Mr Money in the Bank responded by inviting Stewart to Fastlane last Sunday or an open invitation to an episode of RAW.

Many WWE fans have speculated about a possible WrestleMania clash between the self-proclaimed future of the WWE and the soon to be ex-host of the Daily Show.

Well the two have now finally come face to face and could be ready to set something up between them (you can see the whole segment below).

On the most recent episode of Stewart's show, Rollins interrupted a segment called the moment of zen with a video tape.

It didn't stop there however as Rollins would then appear behind Stewart as he issued a very interesting invitation.

Rollins would then invite Stewart to this Monday's episode of RAW so the two could come face to face once again.

After Stewart had awkwardly avoided the confrontation with Rollins for most of the segment, he then tried to attack Rollins.

Trying to put Rollins in a headlock, the experienced WWE superstar would then turn it around and put Stewart in a headlock of his own as the show went off the air.

This Monday's episode of RAW should be interesting if both Stewart and Rollins are in the arena.

Rollins' road to WrestleMania?

There has been very little confirmation about who Rollins could face off against at WrestleMania XXXI at the end of March.

Many had speculated that he would take on Randy Orton who he put out of action back in November but returned at Fastlane last week.

Orton has since rejoined the Authority and appears to be working with Rollins rather than against him.

So only time will tell who Rollins will be put up against come the WWE's biggest show of the year in San Francisco on March 29th.
