Since it's inception, NXT has pretty much revolutionised the WWE developmental program and its special Takeover shows have stolen the attention of the WWE Universe on several different occasions.
NXT has produced many of the big names who now lead the way on the WWE roster including the three former Shield members, Daniel Bryan and its newest tag team in the Ascension.
The current crop of NXT superstars are seen as the future and have electrified the audience on multiple occasions.
But stars like Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Adrian Neville and Hideo Itami will all now be seen as insiders on the WWE's newest controversy.
NXT trainer Bill Demott was trending on Twitter on Monday night following some strong and controversial allegations made against him.
- Vince McMahon is outraged with controversial WWE superstar
- WWE accidentally reveal a huge name for this year's Hall of Fame
- Potential direction for Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania XXXI
Former NXT superstar Austin Draven who wrestled under the name Judas Devlin is the man behind the remarks.
Draven no longer works with the WWE and has finally opened up about his departure from the company.
During his interview last week, Draven accused the WWE developmental program of bullying, inappropriate sexual remarks and favouritism.
As well as just speaking in generalities, Draven highlights Demott as being a bully and launched a scathing reveal of his antics which you can find here.
A copy of a letter that Draven sent to WWE officials outlining Demott's antics has also hit the internet and has helped to spark the controversy.
The real next generation?
NXT has given us some of the biggest stars of the future ever since its inception but Draven's claims may mean that the choices have been more thought through than previously thought.
Claiming that favouritism runs through the program, Draven has made some huge hints at the flaws behind the scenes of the show.
Superstars going straight to the top after a successful NXT career isn't uncommon but some NXT stars have also failed to reach heights fans thought they would following their transition to the main roster.
