AJ Lee returns on RAW ahead of WrestleMania XXXI

Having not been seen since she lost the Divas championship to Nikki Bella at Tables, Ladders, Chairs and Stairs back in December, AJ Lee has finally returned.

In a typically AJ way, she returned and provided a very strange angle which the WWE Universe will surely try to get their head around in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania XXXI.

It was a bit of shock to see AJ make her return which the fans have been waiting for for several months.

It all happened during a match on tonight's episode of RAW in which Paige was taking on Divas champion Nikki Bella.

In a rematch from Fastlane, Paige was given a second chance to win her third Divas championship.

Nikki and Paige gave the fans a great match to watch and it looked as the popular challenger from England was close to winning the title.

Paige had Nikki Bella in the PTO before Nikki's sister Brie decided to get involved and cause the disqualification.

As it looked like Paige was about to become the victim of another beatdown by the Bellas, that when they were the ones who got ambushed.

AJ ran down to the ring and attacked the Bella's and eventually got some help off of her former 'frenemy' to help finish off the twins.

In a backstage interview shortly after the match, the two were discussing forming a partnership against the Bella twins.

The two have teamed before and it didn't end well but they are now united against a common enemy and will surely look to excite the fans as WrestleMania approaches.

WrestleMania ready?

AJ Lee returning into the divas picture changes the landscape for WrestleMania and what could happen there.

Most would expect there to be some kind of a Divas championship match at WrestleMania which would not fit the current set up of two teams.

It is anyones guess what will happen when WrestleMania rolls into San Francisco on March 29th but it is pretty clear that AJ Lee will be involved.
