WrestleMania XXXI update
We begin with news of another WrestleMania 31 announcement. With just over three weeks to go until the big event, the WWE have today confirmed that Jack Swagger will take part in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Swagger joins The Mix, Curtis Axel and Ryback as having been confirmed for the returning Royal-Rumble style event and he will be hoping to challenge right to the end in a bid to become it's second winner.
Cesario is the only Superstar to have that honor at present, but many fans feel that whoever comes out on top at 'Mania XXXI's Battle Royal must be given better booking in the aftermath than he received.
Elsewhere, last night’s RAW was made memorable for two main reasons.
First the crowd was treated to an appearance from Jon Stewart of The Daily Show. The TV host continued his fun feud with Seth Rollins - ultimately ending up in a scrap with the WWE Superstar which saw Stewart land a kick to the groin before making a run for the exit.
The Monday Night show also saw the long-awaited return to WWE TV for Divas star AJ Lee. Interrupting a match between Paige and the Bella Twins, Lee came to the rescue of the British Diva - much to the delight of Lee's home town crowd.
After making a dramatic return to proceedings, AJ Lee later suggested a partnership with the Paige could be possible.
This tag-team looks likely to stick together through to WrestleMania where another encounter with the Bella Twins is on the cards.
With the Divas division having come under some scrutiny lately, and AJ Lee having been vocal in urging the WWE to do more for female wrestlers, her comeback certainly makes the next few weeks very interesting.
