Ronda Rousey is lighting up social media like she is smashing her opponents.

The UFC's Women's Bantamweight champion defended her title against Cat Zignano in just 14 seconds, sending the internet into a frenzy. Her name was used as a search time over 1.2 million times on Google after her victory and memes based on her win overtook sites such as Reddit and Twitter.

Rousey reigns over all

The 14 second win was the fastest submission ever in UFC main event history and it came after Rousey stuffed a flying knee attempt and then used her exceptional judo skills to lock in her patented arm bar.

It was her eleventh professional victory and her ninth via arm bar. It leaves the champion without any clear opponent, as she's now defeated every fighter in the top five of the UFC's divisional rankings.

Such dominance of a division hasn't been seen in the division before and it may be years before we see someone on the same level as Rousey.

Who's next?

Her only options right now are former professional boxer, Holly Holm, who won her in her UFC debut at UFC 184 or Bethe Correia. Correia is undefeated and had pledged to defeat Rousey and her friends, who call themselves 'The Four Horsewomen of MMA'.

Correia has defeated two of those - Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler - and with the third of them in another weight division, that leaves just Rousey to beat. Rousey is well aware of this and called out Correia after her win at UFC 184. Correia has responded by calling Rousey a 'selfish champion' who is 'not good for the division.'

Correia currently doesn't have a fight lined up and despite not fighting since August and having never beaten a top-10 ranked opponent, it seems she might be hot-shotted into a title fight out of necessity.

There's only one fighter that could possibly get in Correia's way and that would be her countrywoman - Cristiane Justino aka 'Cyborg'.

The dream match that we need to see

Justino, or as she's more commonly known 'Cyborg', is a Featherweight fighter and has been locked in a war of words with Rousey for years. The two have the most fierce rivalry in women's MMA today and possibly MMA overall, without even having clashed in the cage.

The major hurdle that's been placed between the two is that 'Cyborg' is unable to the reach 135lb limit for Bantamweight fights without severely damaging her performance. At this moment in time, Rousey remains stoic and will not take any catchweight offer and fair enough to her.

She's the reigning champ and 'Cyborg' would be a new contender. There's no Featherweight division for women in the UFC yet either, so there's no need for Rousey to step up.

The odds of this dealing being made are unlikely to none... at least at this point. Yet as seen with Mayweather and Pacquiao - never give up hope, even if it is a couple years too late.
