Rafi Dahan forced to retire after horror tackle

In March 2014, Maccabi Haifa midfielder Ruben Rayos committed perhaps the worst challenge in football history on Rafi Dahan of Bnei Yehuda.

And Dahan has only now been told that his football career is over at just 25-years-old.

After the challenge caused serious anterior cruciate ligament damagem a year's worth of recuperation hasn't proved enough for Dahan, who was told by doctors that he will never fully recover from the gruesome incident.

Rayos flies in two footed, and nowhere near the ball to cause one of the worst injuries we've ever seen, this one's hard to watch.

Of course, Rayos received a straight red and a ban for the challenge, but should he suffer retrospective punishment?
