Brock Lesnar's future in WWE has been a hotly discussed topic for the past few months. The WWE Heavyweight Champion's wrestling contract will expire after WrestleMania 31, and it has been predicted for months that Lesnar will leave WWE when his contract runs out.
In recent weeks though, talk of Lesnar's exit has been contradicted by reports that state key personnel in the WWE expect the powerful wrestler to sign a new deal.
But as we know in WWE, as every week goes by there is always another twist and last week brought about a controversy that threatened Lesnar's participation in WrestleMania 31 altogether.
Lesnar and Vince McMahon's huge bust-up over the terms of his next potential contract with WWE have led to rumors aplenty, and even talk he might not appear at Mania.
There is no doubt that WWE's current champ will appear at Mania though, the money is just too good, but his bust-up with McMahon and subsequent decision to walk out on Raw last week will have some consequences that Lesnar will not like, with WWE expected to force him to make another appearance before Mania.
"According to The Wrestling Observer, there is speculation that WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar might owe WWE one more date due to his “walk out” during the February 23rd edition of WWE Raw. As noted, Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon had a business disagreement that night, and it lead to Brock walking out of Raw even though he was advertised to appear," WrestleZone reported.
"As of now, Lesnar is scheduled to appear on Raw next week, on March 23rd, and the night after WrestleMania. That would mean a make-up date would be 3/16, as Lesnar is currently not advertised for that show."
Lesnar is currently only booked in for one more appearance before Mania, but after missing last week's Raw, it's expected that WWE will demand Lesnar makes another appearance before WWE's biggest and best event takes place on March 29.
