It seems in WWE there is always a star returning or leaving the wrestling company every week, and this week is no different.
Former WWE champion Mark Henry will be the latest superstar to return this week, as the wrestling company gears up for their biggest event of the year at the end of the month when WrestleMania 31 is staged in Santa Clara, California.
According to reports on Wednesday, the former heavyweight champion will return to WWE TV on Thursday on SmackDown when he interrupts an in-ring promo by title hopeful Roman Reigns, who will be facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 in his bid to be crowned the king of the WWE.
But it is believed that Henry will not be starting up any kind of a feud with Reigns post-Mania at this stage, and it's understood that he could be a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Mania later this month, according to NoDQ wrestling.
"Mark Henry will make his return to WWE TV on this Thursday's WWE SmackDown. Henry hasn't appeared since the November 24th RAW when he lost to Ryback. He has been rumored for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31," NoDQ reported.
"On Thursday's SmackDown, Henry will interrupt an in-ring promo by Roman Reigns and tell him that he needs to earn the respect of the fans and other Superstars backstage. This leads to Reigns taking Henry out with a Superman punch and a spear. It appears they will do Henry vs. Reigns on Monday's RAW from Des Moines, Iowa."
Henry has reportedly lost a lot of weight since he last appeared in WWE, and we will have to wait and see whether that improves his push by the WWE in the next few months.
