Former World Champion Sheamus is set to return to WWE TV in less than three weeks time at Wrestlemania 31.
The "Celtic Warrior" was set to be a part of John Cena's Survivor Series team back in November but the night the official team was released, Sheamus suffered an injury and was replaced in the team by Erick Rowan.
The Irish superstar has been out of action ever since and despite rumours linking him to a return at January's Royal Rumble, and again at last month's Fastlane pay-per-view to set up a storyline with Daniel Bryan leading into Wrestlemania, he still hasn't been seen on WWE TV.

"WWE has been airing vignettes for Sheamus for several weeks now but the current plan is to have his first appearance be at WrestleMania. There's still no word yet on what match he will be working but it likely will be the Intercontinental Title Ladder Match or the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal."
Change of plans?
It was reported that Sheamus would face Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 31 in what would be a rematch of one of the shortest Wrestlemania matches in history when Bryan was defeated in 18 seconds when AJ Lee caused the distraction and Sheamus equalised, winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 28.

The Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match is all but announced now as Stardust joined the already announced Dean Ambrose, Bad News Barrett, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper with Daniel Bryan already a rumoured participant and Goldust also rumoured to be the final superstar to be announced in the eight man ladder match.
The Andre the Giant Battle Royale is another rumoured place where Sheamus could return. So far the announced participants put Ryback in the favourite spot, but the former United States Champion could add something extra to the battle royal and could even leap to favourite heading into the biggest event of the year.
The current participants include The Miz, Curtis Axel, Ryback, Fandango, Adam Rose, Zack Ryder, Jack Swagger, Titus O'Neil, Darren Young, Big Show and Kane.
There are just two weeks of build up left before the biggest event of the year and the current Wrestlemania matches that have been made official include:
Triple H vs Sting, Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt, AJ Lee and Paige vs The Bella Twins, Rusev vs John Cena for the United States Championship and Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
