Frank Gore's arrival at the Indianapolis Colts was quickly followed by the addition of another former Miami Hurricane star, wide receiver Andre Johnson, and the veteran running back is today doing his best to recruit another former 'U' teammate whose arrival would cement the Colts' tag as pre-season favorites for Super Bowl glory.
All about The U
The man being actively recruited by Gore? Recently crowned Super Bowl champion, defensive tackle Vince Wilfork.
Wilfork's future remains unclear after the New England Patriots declined the option on his contract, and Gore clearly saw an opportunity to make a play at the veteran when he took to social media on Friday.

The post has since had over 13,000 likes with the vast majority of comments coming from excited Colts fans hoping that their new duo can soon become a trio with the addition of Wilfork.
Gore, Johnson, and Wilfork were all part of the Miami Hurricanes program during the early part of the century. Indeed all three took to the field during one of the most successful periods in the school's history - helping in their own way as the Hurricanes won 39 consecutive games between 2000-2003.
Since arriving in the NFL the three veterans have combined for 17 Pro Bowls between them.
When you consider that head coach Chuck Pagano and associate coach Rob Chudzinski both also have ties to the Miami school and it could start to look like one impressive reunion.
Vince Wilfork may well be intrigued by the Indianapolis Colts but at present his NFL future is yet to be decided upon.
Although the Patriots declined his option, and sent him to the free agency market on March 5, there is still a chance that the 33-year-old returns to New England for yet another season.
Should he opt to join the Colts though, Indianapolis would have to be considered legitimate Super Bowl contenders after an impressive early offseason.
Wilfork's experience and talent would be a huge add - the DT having made 516 combined tackles, 16 sacks, 12 fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and three interceptions in an illustrious career.
What do you think Colts fans? Would Wilfork's addition be the final piece in the jigsaw? And does the team now have a real chance at glory after the recent moves? Let us know in the comments section below...
