The tennis world has converged on the United States of America again, Indian Wells more specifically, as the world’s best players, both male and female, battle it out at one of the tennis calendar’s most eagerly anticipated tournament of the year.

However, while the likes of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray take their usual places in the men’s draw, and Serena Williams makes a long awaited return to the tournament, it would seem a lot of them have been upstaged by English model and actress, Kelly Brook.

Glamour Tennis

Brook is not one that you would usually associate with the world of sport, apart from her extensive dating record – Welsh Rugby player Thom Evans being the most noteworthy amount of time – however that didn’t stop her from enjoying a day at the tennis.

In fact, this isn’t the first time that she has enjoyed a classic bit of racquet action. The picture above was taken at the ATP World Tour Finals in London. Kim Kardashian and now Kelly Brook; who would have thought it?!

She is currently in the States working on a new, probably terrible, comedy sitcom called ‘One Big Happy’ as she looks to further her acting career. A break in filming allowed her to watch the action at Indian Wells, with the comfort of a VIP box and accompanying glass of champagne.
Her publication of the visit on social media sites such as Instagram and Twitter caused quite a frenzy, and not just because she was happy to show off a bit of ‘flesh’.

Indian Wells

Brook, who has appeared in films which have shockingly missed out on Oscar recognition like Piranha 3D and the Keith Lemon Movie, would have been able see the likes of Djokovic and Murray avoid banana skin results whilst also seeing the equally-glamorous duo Maria Sharapova and Eugenie Bouchard strut their stuff.

The structure of the tournament means that Federer and Nadal have yet to appear at Indian Wells, but both the former winners are due to play their first matches on Sunday.
This tournament in California is one of just two ATP events in the month of March, the other being another 1000 ranking point event in Miami as USA takes centre stage again following Flushing Meadows last autumn.

Building momentum will be the name of the game for the top stars as before they know it, they’ll be locked into back-to-back Grand Slam at the French Open and Wimbledon. You can expect more celebrities at those events too…
