Shakhtar ace Douglas Costa has revealed that he wants to join Chelsea this summer, insisting that he can fulfil his ambitions at the club, reports the Mirror.
The Brazilian winger, who was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in January before the Blues secured the services of Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina, seems determined to leave Ukraine behind sooner rather than later.
In fact, Costa has suggested that he's 'tired' of playing in the same division, admitting that he would love to be coached by Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

Speaking to reporters, the 24-year-old said: “I’m tired of playing in the same league. It’s time to change something. I want to try myself in a strong team that plays in a strong championship.
“I want to play for Chelsea not just because my friend Willian plays there, but also because it’s the team coached by a great coach like Mourinho.

“With them I can achieve maximum height. I am now 24, and it is a mistake to try to persuade me to stay.”
It remains to be seen, however, as to whether the Blues make a move for him anytime soon. After failing to press ahead with a deal in the January transfer window, it's far from certain as to whether they will swoop for his signature in the summer.
Costa, who has a release clause of £35 million, has also been linked to Chelsea's Premier League rivals Manchester United of late, so the duo could yet go head-to-head for the wide-man.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal will no doubt be hoping to improve his side in the immediate future, with the Dutch boss targeting long term success at the Theatre of Dreams.
Chelsea aren't in need
But do Chelsea really need Douglas Costa? At the end of the day, after just signing Cuadrado, Mourinho already has an array of attacking talent at Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Co. starring under his guidance.
Costa would no doubt prove a solid squad player for the Blues, but at £35m he certainly wouldn't come cheap. With veteran Didier Drogba approaching the end of his career, perhaps Mourinho would be better focusing on a new striker signing for his side this summer.
Perhaps, then, Costa will have to look elsewhere as he goes in search of Premier League football.
