WrestleMania is the biggest pay-per-view event of the year for the WWE. It is essentially the biggest anything for the wrestling company.
All of the WWE's best wrestlers will be in Santa Clara, California on March 29 at WrestleMania 31, but it is not just about the big matches.
Roman Reigns will take on Brock Lesnar for the WWE Heavyweight Championship, John Cena will have a match with Rusev for the United States Championship, while Daniel Bryan will compete in a ladder match with six others for the Intercontinental Championship. But in and amongst all of that, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will also be something to behold at WrestleMania 31.
We have heard a lot about this match in the last few weeks, with wrestlers such as Kane, Big Show, The Miz, Ryback, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Jack Swagger, Curtis Axel, Fandango, Adam Rose, Zack Ryder, Erick and Rowan all announced as participants.
But now we can add two more huge names to that list. Today it was announced that both Goldust and former WWE Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry will participate in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31 as well, adding to an already stellar cast.
"Goldust and Mark Henry are now official for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31. The updated list of participants looks like this: Henry, Goldust, Kane, Big Show, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Jack Swagger, The Miz, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Fandango, Adam Rose, Zack Ryder, Erick Rowan, Sin Cara," wrestling inc reported.
It had been previously expected that Goldust would appear in the Intercontinental ladder match, but he was ruled out of that last week, while there have been rumors about a WWE return for Mark Henry for the last few months.
