The race for Champions League football is intensifying after another week of shock results in Serie A.

With Juventus already set to win a fourth consecutive league title, a handful of teams are battling to finish behind the Old Lady and hope to secure a place in Europe’s top-tier competition next season.

Roma had at one point looked destined to tussle it out for the title, but their form since the turn of the year has been erratic and they are beginning to look a troubled side under Rudi Garcia.

After the weekend's results, Roma are just one point clear of Lazio in third place, and where their place in the Champions League looked safe, it's now in danger.

Form

That, coupled with the form of the likes of Lazio, Napoli, Fiorentina and Sampdoria, has now given an exciting twist to the season going into the latter months of this campaign.
