WrestleMania is now less than two weeks away, and the second annual Andre the Giant Battle Royale is finally beginning to pick up pace.
Since Fastlane at the end of last month superstars have been declaring their involvement in the match each week and slowly the 20 slots are being taken up.
At first it seemed like the usual names were being added to the match because they didn't have a match anywhere else on the card, but now it seems WWE might be taking the over-the-top battle royal a little more seriously.
The match itself is in honour of the late, great Andre the Giant and last year paid homage to him when Cesaro slammed The Big Show before he took the trophy and the win in the inaugural match.
This year could be a little different, with Cesaro defending his tag team championship, it leaves the match open for a new winner and now former World Champion Mark Henry has declared himself a participant.
Last night on Raw, Henry headed to the ring, that was already filled with participants including Curtis Axel and Kane.
A brawl then broke out and Axel exited the ring, after everyone else had been eliminated, Kane and Mark Henry battled it out and Henry got the better of Kane before Axel climbed back in the ring and tried to eliminate The World's Strongest Man but he was also brushed aside.
Much like last year's build up surrounding The Big Show, it seems Mark Henry is the favourite heading into the match despite the fact that AxelMania is currently running wild. As an addition to the match, Mark Henry seems like a wise choice who will add the pedigree needed to the second biggest battle royale of the year.
Goldust has also been added to the match after WWE deemed his rivalry with real life brother Stardust was a failure and put him in the IC title ladder match and now Goldust will fight it out for the Andre the Giant trophy.
The updated list of participants sees Mark Henry, Goldust, Kane, Big Show, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Jack Swagger, The Miz, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Fandango, Adam Rose, Zack Ryder, Erick Rowan, Sin Cara.
This leaves five spaces for any additional members of the WWE locker room to add themselves to the match. John Cena attempted to be a part of the match a few weeks ago before Stephanie refused to allow him to take part.
Many members of the match have rivalries with each other, Erick Rowan and The Big Show continued their feud last night on Raw, as did The Miz and Damien Mizdow and Curtis Axel and Kane.
There is still one more episode of Raw and two episodes of Smackdown before next Sunday's WrestleMania event, so there is plenty of time for the final participants to be announced but WWE had three spaces left last year on the day of Wrestlemania and added more members on the day, so don't be surprised if WWE take this down to the wire.
