We begin with Brock Lesnar, and the WWE Heavyweight Champion has finally commented on his contract situation, according to reports.
Remaining coy on whether he will sign a new deal, Lesnar simply said that he will remain champion whether he stays or goes.
The comments from Lesnar come from his pre-taped promo for Monday Night Raw, and the Inquisitr.com has reported the following below.
“Here’s the deal with my WWE contract status — if I stay, I’ll be the WWE Champion. If I go, I’ll be the WWE Champion.”
Personnel within WWE still expect Brock Lesnar to re-sign with the wrestling company, but those views have been challenged somewhat by the events of the past few weeks.
Lesnar and Vince McMahon had a major bust-up a couple of weeks ago, with the two feisty characters almost coming to blows during a conversation about Lesnar's new contract. It seems neither will budge at the moment in the contract negotiations, and a deal between Lesnar and WWE could well be struck after his contract officially runs out.
It remains to be seen whether or not Brock Lesnar signs a new WWE deal, but what do you think WWE fans?
