Reports coming out of the WWE Universe yesterday revealed that one part of The Uso Brothers - Jey - was battling to be fit for WrestleMania XXXI after an injury picked up on last week's SmackDown show.
Now Jimmy, the healthy member of the tag team duo, has spoken on the status of his brother's shoulder injury in an interview on the WWE's official App.
And, listening to the video, the Superstar's chances of making 'Mania certainly don't sound wholly positive - especially when the word "critical" is used.
"With WrestleMania being two weeks away its like either he will be not 100 percent even if he even makes it to WrestleMania," Jimmy Uso explained.
"We are still waiting on the results and if he will be cleared medically...It is still a waiting game right now...It is a critical phase right now."
Naomi offered her own take on the current status of her Brother in Law - saying that she and Jimmy were doing their best to keep Jey Uso is a positive mindset as the WWE continues to build to its biggest event of the year.
With just 12 days to go before the lights go up at Levi's Stadium there looks a real possibility that the WWE will have to start planning changes for the Tag Team Championship match up.
It had been speculated that The Usos would go up against New Day, Los Matadores and Cesaro and Kidd in a Fatal Four Way at 'Mania XXXI, but, if the injury doesn't heel in time, that may have to be trimmed to a three-sided battle for the title.
WWE Superstars live to perform at WrestleMania so you can put your house on the fact that Jey Uso is determined to make an appearance on March 29. With the organization though having come in for heavy criticism in recent times over accusations of forcing their wrestlers to go through the pain barrier to perform it remains to be seen whether WWE doctors are willing to give the former Tag Team Champion the all clear unless the shoulder issue is 100-percent cleared up.
What do you think WWE fans? Will we see The Uso brothers compete at WrestleMania XXXI? And who can replace them if Jey Uso is ruled out? Let us know in the comments section below...
