Back in 2013, former Manchester United captain Gary Neville must have feared the worst when Sky told him he would be joined on Monday Night Football by Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher, but the unlikely duo are now very good friends.
Over the past two years there have been some great moments of banter between the two pundits, whose MNF show has been a roaring success.
And on Monday night, after Liverpool beat Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, Carragher seized his chance to have another cheeky dig at his fellow pundit.

Sky showed a highlights reel of the best Premier League goal celebrations following Wayne Rooney’s effort against Tottenham on Sunday.

Carragher destroys Neville
After being asked by presenter Ed Chamberlain if he knew of players who practised goal celebrations - he admitted Daniel Sturridge was guilty - Carragher turned to Neville and asked: “Didn’t you practise that with Scholesy?” (Skip to 1:40 in the video).
Neville took it in good humour and laughed along with Carragher and Chamberlain before finally moving on to the next question.
Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard debate
This is not the first time that Scholes has sparked debate between Neville and Carragher.
The two former players once engaged in a heated debate when rating Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard in order.
Neville, who cites Scholes as the best player he played with during his illustrious career, was visibly bemused by Carragher’s decision to rank Gerrard and Lampard above his former teammate.
The current England coach hailed Scholes as a “unique talent” and felt the retired midfielder deserved to be recognised as the best of the bunch.
That so many great individuals have spoken out in appreciation of Paul Scholes over the years proves he was a player’s player.
But club bias always seems to rear its ugly head in these situations: United fans will pick Scholes, Liverpool fans would choose Gerrard, while Chelsea fans would select Lampard.
