Although Hulk Hogan mispronounced the name of the arena during last year's WrestleMania XXX opening segment, when both The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin joined him in the ring, the WWE Universe knew it was in for something special.
Even if this year's biggest night on the WWE calendar is not an anniversary event, WWE are hoping the inclusion of celebrities both during the night and in the build-up to it, will help promote the event as The Grandest Stage Of Them All.
On Monday Night Raw it was revealed that LL Cool J will make another WWE appearance as part of the opening of WrestleMania XXXI, having previously co-hosted Raw alongside fellow NCIS: LA actor Chris O' Donnell in March of last year.

A promo video was released showing the rapper stating that the word 'spectacular' is over used and that what really is spectacular is WWE and WrestleMania.
Having already had Wiz Khalifa perform a song on last week's show, WWE also announced that none other than Snoop Dogg will appear on the WrestleMania XXXI go-home edition of Monday Night Raw next week.
The rapper, who is scheduled to be part of the show as part of promoting his latest album, 'Bush' will be the show's official guest star when the programme takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Also making a WWE appearance will be ESPN personality Bill Simmons, who will take his place as a guest commentator during the show, although it has not yet been made clear whether this will be for a segment or two, or for the entirety of Monday Night Raw.
A well-known fan of professional wrestling, Simmons may well be an entertaining addition to the commentary team for the final edition of Raw before WrestleMania XXXI.
Although these celebrity additions are not necessities in order to add to the hype of the biggest night on the WWE calendar, their inclusion does prove the popularity of WWE across the celebrity spectrum as well.
As ever, WrestleMania XXXI is set to be a huge event consisting of both excitement and shocks, with the match card certainly looking like it will not disappoint the WWE Universe...
