Phillip Rivers could leave San Diego Chargers

Published Add your comment

We begin in the NFL where Phillip Rivers has failed to commit his long-term future to the San Diego Chargers. The quarterback has one year left on his current deal and admitted that the rumors regarding relocation to Los Angeles are putting him off extending his stay with the franchise. Across to college basketball and both Hampton and Ole Miss secured their place in March Madness with wins last night. Hampton overcame Manhattan whilst Ole Miss rallied from 17 points behind to beat BYU. Meanwhile, in the NBA the New York Knicks pulled off the shock of the night – beating the San Antonio Spurs 104-100 after overtime. Speaking after the game, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich described his team’s performance as pathetic. Finally, in the NHL, the league’s GMs have today taken the bold step to recommend introducing three-on-three play in overtime starting next season.
