Romelu Lukaku is the subject of speculation for this summers transfer window. Wolfsburg are apparently more than willing to offer £33 million for the highly rated 21-year-old, according to the Mirror.
The German side are obviously still frustrated that they missed out on Lukaku in the last summer window.
With a Champions League spot nearly in the bag for the Bundesliga outfit that may attract Lukaku to Wolfsburg but they have to convince Everton first.
What is the major attraction?
With Everton going strong in Europe this year, Lukaku has been one of the contributing factors to that success as he has scored seven goals in eight appearances and with Wolfsburg return to the Champions League they will be hoping he can find that European form next year for them, if they manage to acquire him.
Lukaku has also scored two in two in the FA Cup but only managed just eight goals in 29 games in the Premier League.
His league form is a stark contrast to his previous loan spell at Everton last year and West Brom the year before that as he bagged 32 goals in 66 league games.
Lukaku has an incredible eye for goal but this season it has evaded him slightly. As Everton have prospered in the Europa League, he has prospered but as Everton have struggled in the Premier League, so has he.
Everton would be obviously looking to make a profit on the Belgian striker seeing as he has been at Goodison Park permanently just one season. £33 million is the expected valuation but with Wolfsburg being shocked at the price of Lukaku last summer it would be a surprise if they stump up even more for the striker.
However, Wolfsburg are owned by German giant car company Volkswagen so money is not a real issue and with Lukaku scoring against Wolfsburg earlier this season Wolfsburg will be looking to make the Belgian their man.
The move could happen as Lukaku recently stated he would move onto a bigger club but would it be this summer? Doubtful.
However, if Everton have the chance of making profit on a player who is misfiring in the league they may just take the money and run.
Lukaku would be playing alongside former team mates Andre Schrrule and Kevin De Bruyne which could be another factor to the move as these are two world class players. Lukaku may find it hard to say no if Wolfsburg make an official bid.
