Michael Sam dreams of NFL

Published 2 Comments

Michael Sam is a free agent, but that has not stopped the NFL's first openly gay player from giving up on his NFL dream. The second year defensive end out of Missouri was present at the first-ever Veteran Combine at the weekend and he acquitted himself well. It remains to be seen whether or not Sam finds a team for 2015, but he says he's confident of playing somewhere in the NFL this year. Across to basketball, and March Madness will take a three-day break after a massively entertaining first two rounds. The big teams to lose out in the round of 32 were Villanova, Kansas and Virginia. Kentucky still remain firm favourites to win it all. And finally in the NBA, Steve Nash announced his retirement over the weekend, while his former team the Phoenix Suns pulled off an impressive 98-92 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night.
