After 12 years of watching him dominate the NBA we know by now that LeBron James can do pretty much anything on a basketball court.
Even so, you can't help but be amazed when the four-time MVP produces another dumfounding moment out on the hardwood.
For LeBron, it's easy
And that's exactly what LeBron did in a recent game for the Cleveland Cavaliers - sinking an effortless 40-yard three point shot after the whistle without as much as batting an eye lid.

The insane shot, a video of which can be seen further down this article, comes from the Cavs' Sunday night game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Hearing the whistle blow for a foul with the Cavs up 81-76 with eight minutes to go, James finds himself with ball in hand and standing at the tip of the Bucks logo at half court. The nonchalant shot that comes next sums up just why many see him as the league's best regardless of current MVP standings.

A slight flick of the wrist is all it takes for the ball to dial in on the basket from about 40-yards away. The fact LeBron doesn't even seem to look up to find his target makes it even more impressive.
While the basket didn't garner the Cavaliers any points on the night it's still worthy of any highlight reel simply because there are very few NBA players, never mind us mere mortals, who could pull it off given multiple opportunities and all the time in the world.
Cavaliers hitting form
After a difficult transitional period that saw many questioning Cleveland's intense offseason overhaul, the Cavaliers have turned things around and are heading toward the NBA Playoffs as one of the league's form teams.
Sunday night's win against Milwaukee is part of a 9-2 recent run. Indeed, since losing six straight in mid-January, LeBron and co are 27-6. They currently sit in second spot in the Eastern Conference and have shown in recent weeks that their impressive roster have the ability to mix it with the best of them.
Whether they can translate this good run of form into postseason success is another question. Having a man capable of hitting an effortless 40-yard three pointer on your side certainly boosts your chances, that's for sure.
