Marko Marin is on his way back to Chelsea from Anderlecht after the Belgian club opted against signing him on a permanent basis for a fee of around £4.5 million.
The winger suffered a season-ending hamstring injury in Sunday's Belgian cup final against Club Brugge, and will now return to Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old has made just six Premier League appearances for Chelsea since joining the club from Werder Bremen in 2012 for a fee of around £6 million.
Marin had loan spells with Sevilla and Fiorentina before he arrived at Anderlecht in the January transfer window, but he made just six league appearances before coming undone. Chelsea will most likely look to move him on in the summer, either by selling up or shipping him out on loan once more.
Cech could leave Chelsea for £10m
Chelsea could be willing to let goalkeeper Petr Cech leave the club for as little as £10 million this summer, with the 32-year-old said to be seeking an exit for regular first-team football.
According to information in the Daily Mirror the Blues goalkeeper could make a departure from Stamford Bridge come the end of the season, having essentially admitted earlier this week that his position had become untenable.
Cech told the Idnes newspaper this week: "I don't know what the club's idea will be. It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo. But that can work for one season only. I don't want another one like this."
He added: "There always will be speculation, I leave it for the summer. It will be important to sit down with the club, with the manager, to consider all the pros and cons. We will see what will work out the best."
Chelsea could still swoop for Cavani
Chelsea have maintained a long-term interest in Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani and could offer him an exit route this summer, reports France Football.
The 28-year-old has struggled to settle in Paris since his £55 million move from Napoli in 2013. PSG boss Laurent Blanc and Cavani are believed to have a strained relationship, which is set to come to and end this summer.
