We thought he was retired, but one WWE superstar will apparently be making a return to the ring.
Christian hasn't been seen in a WWE ring since he hosted an episode of Monday Night Raw a couple of months ago with former tag team partner Edge, where the two of them got beat up Seth Rollins and his stooges.
During that edition of Raw, Jerry Lawler made a passing comment that Christian was retired from in-ring competition because of injury, but apparently that isn't the case.
Back Very Soon
Jack Swagger appeared in an interview with MTV UK in the build up to WrestleMania 31 earlier today where he let slip that 'Captain Charisma' will be making a return sometime soon.
"He's a little busy... counting his money, I guess," Swagger joked when asked about the Canadian. "Christian is one of the most intense competitors I've ever been in the ring with. He's still very much around. He lives down the street from me... he's not going anywhere.
"He will be back, jumping through your television or computer screen very soon."
By "very soon" could it be possible that Swagger means this weekend at WrestleMania 31? The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal could be a perfect place for Christian to make a shock return. It's very unlikely, but Christian's return would still get a pretty big pop from the 'Mania crowd.
Christian was thought to be retired because he hasn't been seen in the ring for so long following problems with concussions and injuries. He had been appearing on pre-show panels and the like during last year after suffering a concussion in a fatal four way match to decide who would face Big E Langston for the Intercontinental Championship.
Christian is still on the WWE's Superstar list of active wrestlers however, which is normally a big giveaway as to a star's situation.
