Hazard, who stars alongside Kompany for the Belgian national side, has insisted that he came to England to land silverware as his side go in search of taking the crown Manuel Pellegrini's side secured last term.
And with Chelsea currently leading the way in England's elite division by six points, the Blues will no doubt be in confident mood ahead of the final stages of the season.
Hazard's certainly determined to help the club secure a domestic double, as he told Sky Sports: "I say to him (Kompany) 'we have to win'. Last season was Man City's, and I came to England to win trophies. This is a good opportunity to win a cup and the league."
There's no doubt about it, despite failing to find their best form of late, the Blues have been the best team in the division throughout the course of the campaign.
With the likes of Hazard, Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Co. in Jose Mourinho's starting XI on a regular basis, the Stamford Bridge outfit have been a force to be reckoned with.
City, on the other hand, have failed to produce the goods, with a number of their top stars struggling to hit their best form.
Hazard to secure it
The story has certainly been different for Hazard, though, with the versatile forward surely in contention to secure the Premier League Player of the Year.
The Belgian international has been superb for the club all season long, and will no doubt play a huge role for his side between now and the end of the season.
In fact, he could be the man to help the club get over the line over the coming weeks. There's no doubt about it, with Hazard at the Bridge, the club will only go on to achieve great things on a long term basis.
Blues fans should feel confident that the league title is coming back to the Bridge, and rightly so.
