Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has revealed that he's loving life in England, insisting that he must keep on learning as he goes in search of success in the Premier League, reports the Mirror.
The Chilean international, who joined the Gunners from Spanish giants Barcelona this past summer, has enjoyed a fine debut campaign with the club.
And the versatile forward, who is set to feature against Brazil at the Emirates today, has claimed that he's adapted well to the division, revealing that he's really happy in north London.
The Gunners ace told the Mirror: “I’m well adapted to the country and the league now. I must keep on learning, though.
“I want to expand my knowledge of English football in general, and Arsenal and my team-mates in particular.
“But overall I love this league. At the end of the day, football was invented in this country, right?
“I live where football was invented. That makes me really happy.”
There's no doubt about it, Sanchez has been one of the standout starts of the season, and will no doubt be hoping to continue his progression at the club in the latter stages of the campaign.
Role to play
And Sanchez will no doubt play a key role for the Gunners as they go in search of claiming a second place finish in the Premier League. Ultimately it appears to be a little too late for Arsene Wenger's side to challenge for the title, but they're certainly in with a great chance of finishing in the top two.
And, despite a few inconsistent performances from Sanchez of late, the ex-Barca man has a huge role to play for the club over in the run-in. He will no doubt be hoping to hit his best form once again in the immediate future.
