Manchester United duo Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao hold manager Louis van Gaal responsible for destroying their confidence and now want to leave Old Trafford this summer.
This has been reported by the Sunday Times, who claim that the duo, who only arrived on English soil this past summer, will seek new challenges at the end of the season.
In fact, the same report has suggested that the Red Devils will take a large financial hit on the duo, who cost them a great deal in 2014.
Falcao, despite only signing for the club on loan from French outfit Monaco, cost the Red Devils as much as £25.6 million, according to the same report.
Di Maria, on the other have, became the club's record signing from Real Madrid last summer, but both players have failed to impress under the Van Gaal regime.
It appears, then, that they could now both depart, with the same report claiming that PSG have an interest in Di Maria, while Falcao's long term future appears to be far from certain.
It hasn't worked
There's no doubt about it, things really haven't worked for either player on English soil. It has never really got going for Falcao in the famous red shirt of United, while Di Maria, who enjoyed a fine start to life at the club, has endured a torrid past few months.
It's surely unlikely that United will take a risk on securing the services of Falcao on a permanent deal, but it would no doubt prove a surprise if they get rid of Di Maria after just one season. One thing's for sure, it looks set to be another extremely busy summer for the United hierarchy.
