Didier Drogba scores in Liverpool All-Star game

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba produced the goods once again this afternoon...this time playing for an All-Star Liverpool side. 

The Ivorian hitman, who may well be approaching the latter stages of his career, has certainly still got it as he scored a fine goal past Reds goalkeeper Brad Jones in the 2-2 draw at Anfield.

It was certainly a classy goal from the veteran as he produced a delightful step over to ultimately slide the ball into an empty net.

The goal, at the time, put Team Carragher 2-0 up over Team Gerrard, but it was the Liverpool skipper who helped his side back into the game with a double from the spot. 

Even Balotelli scored 

Arguably the biggest surprise of the day, however, was that the controversial Mario Balotelli opened the scoring with this absolute screamer.

Despite the game being a friendly in an attempt to raise money for charity, the Kop will no doubt be pleased when Drogba finally calls it a day. 

For now, though, he doesn't seem to be going anywhere, and the Reds faithful may well have to put up with him for another season yet...
