Last night saw the WWE honor a number of individuals who have contributed to the business down the years as the 2015 Hall of Fame class were inducted.
Hall of Fame
The likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Macho Man Randy Savage were amongst the inductees but the event was marred slightly by the reaction of some fans who were heard heckling at various points.
The petulant actions of a minority of those in attendance in San Jose, California clearly didn't go down well with one veteran WWE Superstar, with Chris Jericho taking to social media to unload an x-rated rant aimed at the fans.
After decades in the business Jericho was furious with an apparent lack of respect.
He followed his tweet with an Instagram post (complete with slightly odd pose) telling the hecklers to "suck it".
Michael Cole, who was overseeing the glitzy event, had warned fans at the outset that anyone caught heckling would immediately be ejected. Unfortunately that didn't stop some from trying to spoil certain individuals' special moment.
This included Roman Reigns who, during the segment for Rikishi, was booed by a section of fans. Hardly the ideal preparation with the WWE Superstar just hours away from his main event at WrestleMania 31.
Overall the night seems to have gone down well with the majority though with several of the speeches, including one from Daniel Bryan, touching the emotions of wrestlers and fans alike.
If heckling continues though perhaps the WWE should consider hiring Jericho to enforce the ejection rule.
What do you think WWE fans? Did the heckling bother you, and what do you think abou those who boo the stars who have given so much for WWE? Let us know in the comments section...
