After a challenging campaign for Everton, Roberto Martinez's side will look to get back to normal service next season. With Europa League commitments taking its toll, Everton have flirted with relegation and will look to invest in the summer for new faces to freshen up the squad.
Here are three names that could do just that.
When coming through the ranks at Tottenham, Steven Caulker was touted as the next big England defender.
A successful loan at Swansea City saw Caulker called up for the England squad, where he scored on his debut against Sweden. However his opportunities back at Tottenham were limited, forcing the young defender to move on.
Unfortunately for him his £8 million move to Cardiff didn't work, being relegated straight back to the Championship and it seems likely that his latest club QPR could suffer the same fate.
Caulker's quality and potential is still plain to see and he is likely to be available in the Summer.
Seeming as Everton's current centre half partnership of Phil Jagielka and Sylvain Distin are aged 32 and 37 respectively, Caulker, 23, could provide some fresh legs, whilst also bringing plenty of Premier League experience for someone his age.
Long term, a Stones - Caulker centre back partnership wouldn't look bad either.
Sticking with QPR, Charlie Austin could be a brilliant signing for Everton. Austin looks set to leave Rangers in the Summer after making an enormous impact in his first season in the Premier League, registering 14 goals so far.
With Austin, Ings and Berahino all young English strikers in demand, any of the three could provide Romelu Lukaku with competition at Goodison Park. However with Ings and Berahino frequently linked with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool, Austin may be a more realistic option for the Merseyside club.
With Arouna Kone suffering from injuries since arriving at Everton another striker would be welcomed with open arms.
In Roberto Martinez's time in England, he has frequently shown a desire to work with young talent. This has been no more evident than in his time at Everton where he has brought through the likes of Ross Barkley and John Stones.
In each of his two season's, Martinez has loaned one young winger from a big club in Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona and Christian Atsu from Chelsea and who is to say he will not do it again.
Januzaj has already shown his quality at Manchester United but he may see his opportunities to play limited next season with the Old Trafford club likely to spend big this Summer.
Therefore a loan deal for the Belgian may be on the cards and his undoubted quality would surely help Everton fight for the top four once again.
