Barcelona forward Neymar has revealed that he's very happy to see Alexis Sanchez starring in the Premier League at Arsenal, reports Goal.com.
Sanchez has enjoyed a fine debut season on English soil, and Neymar is pleased to see his former teammate excelling in the Premier League.
The Brazilian ace told reporters: "Alexis is a big friend and someone who I had the privilege of playing with at Barcelona,” said Neymar.
"We used to get along very well on and off the field, so I’m very happy to see him so well at Arsenal."
However, Neymar won't be following Sanchez to England anytime soon, as he's insisted that he's very happy plying his trade Spanish giants Barcelona.
"As for playing in England myself, I’m very happy playing for Barcelona and I still have a long road to walk here."
Welbeck could miss Liverpool showdown
Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck could miss this weekend's Premier League showdown with rivals Liverpool, according to the Mirror. The former Manchester United man is struggling with a knee injury he picked up on international duty for England, so may well miss the huge clash at the Emirates.
There's no doubt about it, Gunners fans will be hoping to see Welbeck prove his fitness for the game in what looks set to be a huge match in the race to secure Champions League qualification.
Walcott set for striker role
And Welbeck's Arsenal teammate Theo Walcott may well take his place in the starting XI for the Three Lions this evening.
In fact, it has been claimed by the Telegraph that the versatile forward will start alongside Tottenham man Harry Kane in attack as Roy Hodgson's side prepare to take on Italy in Turin.
