Published Add your comment

We start off in the NFL, where Wes Welker's future is still up in the air. We're a month into free agency now and no teams have tried to sign Welker, with the Broncos not having any interest in the receiver as well. There's no word yet if the ageing wideout will retire, but this could be the end for the 5 time Pro Bowler. Over to the NBA, where the Atlanta Hawks extended their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference. DeMarre Carroll top scored with 23 in a win against the Bucks last night, but Kyle Korver took the plaudits after he netted an incredible 11 points in 65 seconds of action. To baseball now, where Chicago Cubs fans were dealt a disappointing blow. Star Cubs prospect Kris Bryant won't be making his Major League debut anytime soon after it was revealed that the team had decided to send him to Minor League camp. And finally to Soccer, where a young American striker has caused quite a stir. US Under-17 star Haji Wright has decided to join the New York Cosmos in the North
