WWE finally produced a pay-per-view to remember on Sunday when WrestleMania 31 completely dominated in Santa Clara, California at Levi Stadium.
It is fair to say that WWE fans are ecstatic at the fact that the wrestling company produced a curve-ball of epic proportions to make Seth Rollins the Heavyweight Champion.
Despite the good vibes in the WWE during the last few days, the company suffered a tremendous blow during WrestleMania weekend when NXT star CJ Parker requested to leave and was released from WWE.
The news has taken a few days to filter out of the WWE following WrestleMania 31. And even despite getting released on Saturday, it has been reported that CJ Parker bizarrely still worked the whole of WrestleMania weekend after appearing on Axxess and the NXR live events all WrestleMania weekend.
"CJ Parker (real name Joe Robinson) has requested his release from WWE, and that request has been granted," cagesideseats.com reported on Wednesday.
"PWInsider reports that Parker's good vibes with his co-workers and bosses extended to the point that he worked Axxess and the NXT live events all WrestleMania weekend despite the release happening on Saturday."
The news that Parker will be leaving the wrestling company is a blow for NXT. Parker is one of the guys that wrestlers say is the perfect guy to work with.
He was as easy being the man of the moment in his match or simply the guy who was being ridiculed. As cagesideseats puts it, many NXT fans will miss CJ Parker.
"Thanks for your work to entertain us, CJ, even when it was just as the butt of our jokes. While you taught us there's no Planet B, we wish you the best on your Plan B," the website added.
So NXT fans, will you miss CJ Parker? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
