Marcus Mariota snubs NFL Draft night

We begin in the NFL, and first draft prospect Marcus Mariota has revealed that he will not be attending the NFL Draft event.

The quarterback joins fellow first round prospect Jameis Winston in snubbing the draft, which will take place in Chicago on April 30th.

"Florida State QB Jameis Winston has said he might not go to the draft in Chicago — moved from New York City for the first time in half a century — and now Oregon QB Marcus Mariota appears to be skipping, too, per ESPN's Adam Schefter," Yahoo Sports reported.

Elsewhere in the NFL

Sticking within the NFL, and journeyman quarterback Matt Schaub has signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens. The former Houston Texans star had been without a team since he was released from the Oakland Raiders last month.
