The week after WrestleMania has been one eventful week as the WWE Universe have tried their best to acclimate to the new world of WWE.
We now live in a world where Seth Rollins is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan is the Intercontinental Champion and John Cena is the United States Champion.
Adrian Neville and the Lucha Dragons have made their main roster débuts after successful NXT careers and the Celtic warrior Sheamus has made his long awaited return.
Sheamus came back on RAW and instantly gave the WWE Universe a new persona as he emerged with a mohawk and a new fiery beard.
What first appeared to be Sheamus coming to the aid of Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan as they were being attacked by Bad News Barrett, soon turned around.
Sheamus attacked both men whilst Barrett fled before simply saying two words: "I'm back".
Shortly after the events on RAW, it was announced that the following Thursday on Smackdown would host a tag team match with Bryan and Ziggler taking on Sheamus and Barrett.
The event didn't take place however as it was announced on Smackdown that Ziggler was unable to compete for an unknown reason.
Many were curious if Ziggler was actually injured or if it was a ploy to make Sheamus' return appear even more ruthless.
Well it now appears that it was in fact the latter and that Ziggler is not in fact injured and his absence was purely a storyline based absence.
Ziggler's absence may have been noticeable but Sheamus and Bryan put on a great match to end the Smackdown after WrestleMania.
A big build up?
By using four big name superstars in and around the Intercontinental championship, the question has to be raised about what the WWE are building up to?
The obvious answer could be a fatal 4-way match at Extreme Rules for the championship which would surely be something the WWE Universe would want to see.
It had been rumoured for months that the WWE wanted to lend more credibility to the mid card belts and using these four names in the Intercontinental championship picture could certainly do that.
