Kevin De Bruyne's agent has confirmed that he has had informal talks with interested clubs for the former-Chelsea midfielder.
The 23-year-old left Chelsea permanently earlier this season, joining Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
De Bruyne has scored nine and set up 16 more for Wolfsburg, with the Bundesliga outfit flying high in the table and a good bet for Champions League qualification next season.
His agent, Patrick De Koster, was speaking to Focus Online - as reported by Goal.com in the UK - when he confirmed that talks had been held but cautioned that no clubs had officially bid for the Belgian starlet.
He also calmed Wolfsburg fans' fears that Bayern Munich would be snapping him up in the summer.
"There are always interested teams and there has been some informal contact," De Koster said.
"People have asked me how Kevin is doing, how he has been developing superbly and putting in good performances.
"That is only normal in situations like this. There have not been any concrete offers, though.
"I can assure you there have not been any talks with Bayern Munich.
“When you want to know whether Bayern are interested in signing Kevin, you should ask [sporting director] Matthias Sammer or [technical director] Michael Reschke. It is true that I have worked with Reschke before, but that does not mean anything now."
“We will sit down with Wolfsburg first, that is a matter of respect. They supported Kevin during a difficult period, when he was unhappy at Chelsea.”
