"The World's Most Dangerous Man", Ken Shamrock is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. He is now 51 years old and feels better than ever.
And he will take on the 41 year old Kimbo Slice at Bellator 138 on Friday, June 19th. Get ready for action, as it will be a special fight to watch.
Shamrock and Kimbo were set to fight at an EliteXC event in 2008, unfortunately, Shamrock had to pull out the day of the fight with a cut, but he has been itching to get a fight with Kimbo Slice ever since and now seven years later they are set to have it.
Ken Shamrock spoke to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour about the fight saying: "I'm not looking to be a contender. I'm not looking to do anything other than to have fun and be able to take fights that are entertaining to me and that are marketable and entertaining to the fans."
Although Shamrock is just fighting for fun he is very happy with his condition saying: "I want to get in there and fight. I feel great. I believe that I could put on a great show and I believe that I'm better than I was 15 years ago."
Of the two fighters, Ken Shamrock has the far superior resume to back it up. He is a former UFC Champion, and is also known for having one of the biggest feuds in MMA history, with Tito Ortiz in 2002 and 2006.

He is also in the UFC Hall of Fame and is widely known as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time and a true pioneer of the sport.
Kimbo Slice may be 10 years younger than the King of Pancrase but that is about all he has on his side, Shamrock has much more experience and if he is in fact as good as he was 15 years ago, he should win this fight.
