Paris Saint Germain will consider offering Manchester United the chance to sign Edinson Cavani as part of a deal to bring Angel Di Maria to the Parc Des Princes.

French newspaper Le 10 Sport claims that Di Maria's agent, Jorge Mendes, has informed PSG that his client is still not settled at Old Trafford and would be open to a move this summer if things don't improve between now and the end of the season.

PSG had an agreement with Di Maria last summer, but Manchester United swooped in with a superior offer and Real Madrid ushered the Argentine star to Old Trafford over Paris.

But PSG believe they've still got a chance of landing Di Maria. The plan to get around Financial Fair Play regulations is to give up Cavani if United show any interest in the forward.

The Uruguayan international has been heavily linked with United in the past, but Louis van Gaal eventually opted to sign Radamel Falcao on loan last summer.

The Colombian is unlikely to stay at Old Trafford for another season next year, so United will be in the market for a new striker and Cavani would be one of the top options available.

However, United invested £60m in Di Maria and it's unlikely that they would be willing to give him up so soon.

What do you think Manchester United fans - would you swap Di Maria for Cavani?
