Ronda Rousey’s appearance at WrestleMania 31 was pretty explosive to say the least.
Rousey took a slap to the face from Stephanie McMahon before she almost broke her arm, and then the UFC women’s bantamweight champion expertly performed a judo throw on Triple H to the excitement and appreciation of WWE’s WrestleMania 31 audience.
It is safe to say that Rousey would be a crowd favorite if ever she did make a competitive appearance in the WWE, and it seems according to reports that that is the wrestling company’s plan.
Rousey vs McMahon
Stephanie McMahon assaulted Rousey first in the ring at WrestleMania 31, and it is now being reported that WWE has been planning to engineer an angle that will see the two stars meet in the ring at WrestleMania 32 in Texas, reports say.
"The whole thing is it's up to Dana (White) and her also, obviously, on whether she wants to do a match. Now, she has acted like she wants to do more. Everyone is saying it's not in her contract for anything more, and she's not under contract for anything more,” wrestling expert Dave Meltzer, cagesideseats reported.
“But there is an understanding that she's going to do 'Mania next year. What I found out is that the idea is a singles match with Stephanie (McMahon) and not a mixed tag and not in the corners. It's a singles match, that is the idea. ... And it always was. This goes back to SummerSlam. They talked to her and she wanted to do it."
So WWE fans, would Stephanie McMahon vs Ronda Rousey be a good match-up for Mania next year? Leave your thoughts in comments section below.
