Adrian Peterson's future is one of the hottest topics in the NFL.
Will he stay or will he leave the Minnesota Vikings for pastures new this offseason? Never has that question been more asked than now.
We still don't know the answer to that question, but the answer to the question of what Adrian Peterson wants to do this offseason has been answered, with the help of NFL insider Jason Cole.
The Bleacher Report NFL reporter was speaking on Tuesday about Peterson's future, and he had some more than interesting things to say about what AP wants.
Cole revealed that Peterson's dream is to join the Dallas Cowboys via a trade this offseason, something that remains a real possibility.
"If Peterson is reinstated that would pave the way for a trade. That could be Indianapolis, Arizona or Peterson's desired scenario - the Dallas Cowboys," Cole revealed.
Set to be reinstated
Peterson is eligible to be considered for reinstatement to the NFL on April 15, and it will be interesting to see what actually happens to the All-Star running back.
The star tailback was originally placed on the NFL's exemption list last season after he was charged with child abuse following the alleged beating of his four-year-old son with a switch.
This news led to worldwide condemnation of Peterson's actions, but in the end Peterson managed to settle the charges with a plea deal. Furthermore, Peterson has been seeking to be reinstated to the NFL for some time, and on April 15 he may finally get his wish.
However, the NFL could string Peterson along, but Cole believes that would be difficult for the NFL to justify.
"On Peterson's side, sources close to him feel that he will be ultimately reinstated om April 15," Cole added.
But what do you think NFL fans? What should the Vikings do? Should Dallas make a play? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
