WWE: Scott Steiner told Hulk Hogan's wife he would "kill Terry"

Published 59 Comments

New details have today emerged concerning the alleged threats made by former wrestling star Scott Steiner to the wife of Hulk Hogan on the eve of WrestleMania weekend.

New details

According to TMZ, not only did Steiner confront Jennifer Hogan to warn her that there would be problems next time he saw her wrestler husband, Steiner went as far as to threaten to "kill" Hulk Hogan.

We earlier brought you news that Steiner had been banned from the WWE Hall of Fame show after allegedly confronting Jennifer Hogan at baggage claim after sharing a flight to California. These latest reports indicate exactly why they took that extreme step. Hulk's actions too show just how seriously he took the threat.

The shocking report details how Steiner allegedly grabbed Mrs. Hogan at the airport before telling her that he planned to "kill Terry (Hulk Hogan's real name)" as soon as his plane landed.

Hulk arrives

As wrestling fans know all to well, Hulk Hogan is not a man who takes a threat like that lying down. It appears that the veteran wrestler, after receiving a call from a startled and concerned Jennifer, hopped on the next flight to San Jose.

From there, TMZ reports, the pair went to local police authorities in order to file a police report. This apparently took place the morning after the airport confrontation.

Police investigation

And it looks like the San Jose police are taking the threat on Hulk Hogan's life seriously.

Per TMZ's report:

"We're told cops are now investigating Steiner for "felony terrorist threats" - and so far, officials have already gathered airport surveillance video which we're told shows Steiner confronting Jennifer."

Ban and beef

It is not clear exactly what sparked this worrying outburst from Scott Steiner - if it indeed did take place as reported - but his hatred of Hulk Hogan has long been known about.

Both Steiner and Hogan were part of nWo during their days in WCW but, with Hogan jumping ship to WWE, the former blames him for the demise of the company. There is also believed to be an ongoing lawsuit between the two parties concerning recent tweets.

The WWE themselves stepped in to prevent Steiner from attending the recent WWE Hall of Fame ceremony prior to WrestleMania 31. A night that saw Hogan have a prominent role as he inducted Macho Man Randy Savage.

What do you think WWE fans? What would possess someone to threaten Hulk Hogan like that? And were the WWE right to act quickly? Let us know in the comments section below...
